Launch Ceremony of the 12th National Development Plan

21 May 2025 – The Wawasan Brunei Office (PWB), Prime Minister's Office (JPM) took part in the exhibition and briefing session for the Launch of the 12th National Development Plan (RKN 12), launched by the Ministry of Finance and Economy (MOFE). The event was held over three days from 21 May to 23 May 2025 at the Lobby and Theatre Hall, MOFE. The guest of honour for the launch ceremony was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II.

Throughout the exhibition and briefing session, up-to-date information on Wawasan Brunei 2035 was disseminated to provide wide exposure and educate the public on the importance of integrated action in achieving the nation's aspirations for the future.

Themed 'Strengthening Socio-economic Development to Safeguard National Well-being and Harmony', the exhibition showcased the journey and projects of the RKN by ministries and facilitating agencies. RKN 12 is a five-year investment plan that represents a strategic commitment aligned with Wawasan Brunei 2035 and supported by six key development pillars, namely enhancing infrastructure and the education system, producing a workforce aligned with industry needs, contributing to environmental sustainability, strengthening national security and the well-being of a resilient citizenry, increasing the contribution of the non-oil and gas sector, and strengthening an efficient and conducive public administration.
