Stage Drama Competition for Government Secondary Schools during the 4th Brunei National Theatre Festival
16 August 2025 – The final stage of the Stage Drama Competition for state secondary schools was held during the 4th Brunei National Theatre Festival (NTFB) organised by 247 Studios, which took place at the Jerudong International School Arts Centre.
The champion of the competition was Sekolah Arab Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, with the runner-up place won by Sekolah Menengah Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah and Ma'had Islam Brunei in third place.
The competition was open to students from Year 7 to Year 9 from government and private secondary schools. A total of five schools with the highest scores advanced to the final stage.
The festival featured drama performances themed on Wawasan Brunei 2035. The competition was held in cooperation with the Language and Literature Bureau (DBP), Co-curriculum Education Department (JPKK), Ministry of Education, as well as the Wawasan Brunei Office at the Prime Minister's Office and the Community Development Council (MKM).
